Moonlight Memories Walk

Join St David’s Hospice (in association with Bespoke Fitness and Events) to celebrate the life, love and friendship of a special person at the Moonlight Memories Walk which is the first of its kind in North West Wales and is raising funds for the local Hospice based in Llandudno.

This ladies only, night time 10km challenge invites people to take part to remember a loved one and raise money for St David’s Hospice at the same time.

The 10km route, begins at Ysgol John Bright, Llandudno, LL30 1LF starting at 10pm.

The route has been designed to take in the beautiful Llandudno promenade together with West Shore beach and participants will be able to write and tie special messages to the band stand along the way.  A rest stop at 5km will be available just under the shadow of The Great Orme at St David’s Hospice itself where you can have a cup of tea and a cupcake to keep up the energy levels!

The event is ideal for families, friends and groups, (over 8’s only) and is £15 per entrant.

About the charity, St David’s Hospice

St David’s Hospice is a local charity, caring for local people in Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey.  The Hospice delivers specialist care to adult patients with advanced illnesses or those in need of end of life care, together with their families.  Every year, the Hospice touches the lives of over 1000 people within the communities it serves.

The Hospice offers 24 hour care, 365 days a year providing a clinical service alongside emotional, physical and spiritual support. The Day Care Unit provides patient care, bereavement and counselling services, whilst the Inpatient Unit offers symptom control, respite and end of life care.

It costs over £3 million each year fund the Hospice, with just 14% of funding coming from the NHS.  No costs are passed to the patients, their families or carers, because St David’s Hospice care is free to all.

* Please note that this event is aged over 3 years old and that all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, who is also registered to take part. One adult can be responsible for up to 5 under 16s but must have them within sight at all times
